A former CIA Clandestine Service Officer and Navy SEAL, he has a deep understanding of defense and national security. Before joining Seerist, he led Control Risks’ Americas region, advising Fortune 500 companies and multinational organizations on risk and resilience. Jim holds a B.A. in International Relations from UCLA and has completed executive education at Harvard Business School and INSEAD.

Melissa has 15+ years of experience in public policy and intelligence analysis, aligning security and risk management with business goals. She held senior roles at Meta, including Global Protective Intelligence Manager, and has worked with the U.S. House of Representatives and as a U.S. Air Force civilian at the Pentagon and in Europe.

Kevin brings over 14 years of subject matter expertise in intelligence tradecraft, geopolitical risk analysis, and operational planning to the team. Before Seerist, he spent ten years on Active Duty as a U.S. Air Force intelligence officer, leading diverse teams in dynamic missions worldwide and specializing in international security policy development. He continues to serve in the New York Air National Guard today.
