John Goolgasian, President of Seerist Federal, talks about the current landscape and future of risk threat vulnerability with WashingtonExec’s Amanda Ziadeh.
Seerist was founded to help address what’s going on now, and help preempt future disruptions with its holistic offering – one in which machines and people work together. John explains how Seerist is using experienced analysts to better train the machines. “We’ve created a symbiotic relationship between the people and the machines. As analysts are doing their job, writing reports and identifying issues that are happening around the globe, it goes right into our deep learning models and our neural networks to help train those models.”
He continues, “As they’re writing about risk and threat in one part of the world, this actually enhances the models of a different part of the world. And as new information is gathered by our automations, and that information is analyzed by our neural networks and deep learning models, it is then enhanced by that human analytics to provide more accuracy. There’s not enough manpower to cover everything. That’s why you need AI but you also need the nuance that only humans can bring.”
