Director of Intelligence Programs | Seerist
Kevin brings over 14 years of subject matter expertise in intelligence tradecraft, geopolitical risk analysis, and operational planning to the team. Before Seerist, he spent ten years on Active Duty as a U.S. Air Force intelligence officer, leading diverse teams in dynamic missions worldwide and specializingin international security policy development. He continues to serve in the New York Air National Guard today. Kevin has a strong record of developing high-performing teams and unlocking value in ambiguous and resource-constrained environments.
Kevin holds a Master of Public Administration from the Harvard Kennedy School, a Master of Business Administration from Cornell University, and a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from the U.S. Air Force Academy.
Director | Control Risks
Cormac leads Control Risks’ maritime intelligence and security services within our geopolitical and strategic risk advisory team. he assists clients with issues such as piracy, war, terrorism, activism, and civil unrest. He regularly appears in news media as an expert commentator.
Prior to joining Control Risks, Cormac was an Operations Manager in East Africa, coordinating land-based close protection, crisis response, and special investigations. He also worked at the National Maritime College of Ireland, managing applied research projects with the Irish Naval Service and the broader European maritime community.
He holds all four certifications under the International Ship and Port Facility Security (ISPS) Code including Company Security Officer (CSO) and is an adjunct professor teaching maritime security at SciencesPo Paris. He served in the Irish Reserve Defence Forces as an NCO and artillery Gun Commander.
Researcher | Control Risks
Arran is a Researcher for the maritime intelligence and security practice, within Control Risks’ geopolitical and strategic risk advisory team. he advises clients on threats to commercial shipping and offshore operations, including war, piracy, and armed robbery at sea, terrorism, activism, and drug smuggling.
Prior to joining Control Risks, Arran interned at a maritime intelligence firm while completing his Master’s in Intelligence and International Security at King’s College London. Arran is an accredited Company Security Officer (CSO). He is regularly cited in maritime industry publications and has appeared on Control Risks’ Global Insight podcast. Arran also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Politics from the University of Leeds.
