What an amazing journey it has been these past three years. Geospark Analytics and Control Risks initially met in 2018, in Geospark Analytics’ early days. As pioneers in threat analysis tools, Control Risks was looking for technology partners who could complement their CORE human analysis services. Geospark Analytics thought Control Risks could be a great client for its artificial intelligence (AI)-driven Hyperion platform. Then, in 2020, a mutual client re-introduced the companies, and the seeds of Seerist were planted.
For the past two years, these companies partnered together with clients, co-developed a product vision, worked together as a team, and ultimately brought Seerist to life. The two teams forged a strong bond from the beginning and shared a common vision and passion to solve the complex challenges our clients face with industry-leading analytics, human verification, and analysis.
Two Companies Form One Vision
There are gritty challenges facing the security and threat industry every day that call for powerful solutions. Solutions that require immense focus and agility to create the analytics and data science, engineer the systems, produce the analysis, and verify the events. It requires bringing together the people, skills, technology, and analysis to outpace disruptive events in the world.
We recognized that both CORE and Hyperion had unique functionalities and feature sets, that when combined, added immense value to clients. But having them in separate platforms hindered innovation and most importantly, the client experience.

The combination of machines and humans is very complementary. Most existing solutions try to solve challenges using one approach or the other, but the value is when our AI and machine learning are informed and improved through the human analysis.
